practically by hand can also sanctify and inspire our professional work. His book does a threefold job. It is fundamental to realize that the working Jesus is to be understood as the happiest person. Based on this, Andreas Pohlmann develops how the Gospels teach us the amazing: We can become happy precisely in our everyday work and
correspond to our spiritual calling. Finally, consequences are drawn for Christian works and congregations which – so much may be revealed – have a highly explosive power. His book is recommended to not only all those who ask themselves after the Sunday service what Monday will bring, but also to those who are responsible for a congregation.

The author is very cautious with the last question. Is it even permissible to ask this, he wants to know? A fact check should definitely be permissible by simply evaluating the frequency of mentions and thus arriving at a prioritization of the biblical statements. But where the Bible is silent, we should do the same. In summary, finally a balanced book without exaggeration, which nevertheless inspires, gives courage and is a practical help for those suffering and teachers alike.

We come across an extremely mysterious topic in the Bible: the blood covenant. From the first to the last page of the Bible, it runs like a thread through the generations. We will be able to discover it for ourselves - but above all the God of the covenant, who introduces himself to us in a completely new way. In doing so, we will finally unravel the secret of his eternal faithfulness. The fact that God blesses his covenant partners should come as no surprise. But what does this blessing look like? Is it always measurable? What can we expect - in material, health and spiritual terms? The last chapter is a small surprise, since marriage is also a covenant. Now we understand why God confirms and blesses this smallest cell of our society. As an expectant or interested couple, I would not miss this book.
